Our Mathews Elementary students recently put their problem-solving skills to the test in Brandi O’Connor’s class! ✔️ They worked together to hang as many candy canes as possible on a classmate - and on a string. ✔️ They designed and made their own mazes, then used their breath to move a ball through the twists and turns. #MathewsElementary #ProblemSolvers #HolidayFun #TeamworkInAction

This week, Mrs. Pacilio has been working with our Mathews Elementary students — writing letters to Santa! Students are learning the art of letter writing and will drop their letters into a custom North Pole mailbox located right in the school. Thanks to our partnership with the Vienna Community Action Committee (VCAC), we know these letters will make it safely to Santa at the North Pole. Have little ones who aren't in school yet? The VCAC has another North Pole mailbox at Vienna Township Bicentennial Park in the gazebo! You can grab a special North Pole envelope at the following local businesses: 📬 Brothers Pizza Vienna 📬 Once Upon a Bookstore 📬 Twisted Peacock Coffee Shop 📬 The Yankee Kitchen 📬 Second To None Cafe Once the letters are written, drop them off at the Bicentennial Park mailbox and Santa will take care of the rest!
